How to create backup and restore emails in cPanel webmail via roundcube interface

Backing up and restoring emails in cPanel webmail via the Roundcube interface is essential for safeguarding important correspondence and ensuring data integrity. Through a few simple steps, you can create backups and restore your emails, offering peace of mind against accidental deletions, server issues, or data loss events.

Step 1 : Login to your webmail account.

Step 2 : Click on Roundcube Webmail.

Step 3 : For backup the emails to your local computer, select the required email(s) that you wish to download in your PC.

Step 4 : Click on More icon and then click on Export and the email will be downloaded to your Local PC.

Step 5 : To restore the emails in your email account, click on More icon in the bar above.

Step 6 : Browse the email location and select the emails to import in email account and click Open.

Step 7 : Verify the email and click on Import.

Step 8: Once done, you will get a notification the messages have been successfully imported.
