Step1: Download the software called kernal migration for sharepoint using the link
‘https://www.nucleustechnologies.com/microsoft-teams-migration/'
Step2: Launch the software once it installed
Step3: Under the Source option click the Microsoft teams in the left option and click on ‘Add Teams’
Step4: Enter the details for the new project
Project name: Anyname
Choose the Basic Authentication (Recommended)
Global Admin User Id: Enter the admin email address
Password : Enter the password
Step5: Finally click on ‘Register and Connect’
Step6: Now let’s add the destination. Under the Destination click on ‘Microsoft Teams’ and
click ‘Add Teams’
Step7: Fill the necessary details
Project name: Giveany name
Now choose Modern Authentication while login
Tenant ID: Enter the source tenant ID
Username: Enter the source admin email address
Client ID: Enter the client ID
Client secret value: Enter the client secret value
Finally click on ‘Register and Connect’
Step8: Choose the data that need to migrate
Step9: Click on that chat folder and choose copy as below
Step10: Now under the destination paste the copied chat
Step11: In the mapping page, fill the check boxes of channels and the chats
Step12: Also, choose the preferred channels and the chats.
Step13: Finally click on ‘Start Migration’
Step14: Now, the migration will start. Once the migration gets complete, the popup shows
that migration completed.
Step15: If you wish to save the migrated file as CSV, click on save as CSV file, else click on
OK.
